About Cycle Calendar

Cycle Calendar helps you track your period by tapping dates on a calendar. It projects your next few periods and can publish them as calendar feeds you can subscribe to, or share with a partner or doctor.

It is free

This site is free, and it will always be free.

Free usually means you are the product instead. That is not the case here. It costs almost nothing to run because there is so little to store, so it does not need to be funded by advertising or selling any data.

There is also very little to know. An account is just an anonymous passkey on your own device, plus a list of dates. We will never ask for a name, an email address, a phone number, or any other personally identifying information.

Your privacy

What we store, and why

We store the dates you tap, and nothing else.

Those dates are only (temporarily) stored because they are the smallest amount of data that is needed to calculate your projected period dates. They are kept on the server rather than only in your browser for two reasons: so you can choose to share calendar feed links, and so you have the ability to login from multiple devices.

Calendar feeds

You can follow your own cycle, and share it with someone if you want to, through calendar feed links. A feed link works in any calendar app (like Apple / Google calendars), and the link itself is anonymous: it carries no name, no email address, and nothing that points back to you.

One thing to watch: the name you give a feed is visible to anyone who has that link, so do not put anything private in it.

How long we keep things

Deleting everything

You can delete 100% of your data whenever you want, from the Account page once you are logged in. It is permanent and it happens immediately. There is nobody to ask and there is no waiting period.
